This site is a tribute to Danny Reynolds. The best husband in the world to Ann, the most wonderful son to Cathy and the late Bobby and a precious brother to Shona, David and Lisa. An adoring and loving Dad to Gillian, Lewis, Bobby and David, and a wonderful stepdad to Lynsey and Grant. Danny was also a devoted Granda to Zach, Ryan, Isla, Poppy, Eva, Hannah and wee Danny. And a great friend to us all. 

He loved his family, Rangers, horses, holidays, bunnets, home, singing, dancing, laughing and everyone he ever met. There is not one person who ever had the privilege to meet Danny and not have a cracking story about him to tell.

We are all still in utter shock and disbelief to learn of the sudden and unexpected loss of Danny.  He was sadly diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer last month and unaware that this brutal disease only presents symptoms at an advanced stage we were all, including Danny, unprepared that it would take him from us so quickly. 

Tragically Oesophageal Cancer is a silent killer unless people are aware of the signs. Suffering prolonged heartburn for as little as 3 continuous weeks could be a sign of a potential tumour which, if identified in time, appropriate interventions can be implemented to prevent development into Oesophageal cancer. 

If we had only been aware of this information we may have had a lot longer with Danny who could have stood a fighting chance to battle this merciless and horrific disease instead of having such a full and happy life which brought so much joy, fun and laughter to us all brought to such a brutally abrupt end. 

We all know Danny was a true legend but let’s make sure his lasting legacy doesn’t stop at happy memories and one that makes a difference.
